All Japan Gymkhana 8th in Honjo Circuit.

In Honjo, I have expected the advantage of the race course, and It was simple course,
I was 1st place, many people recorded almost same time on Friday tough.

the course has became longer, but still simple.
I was still 1st place, the difference was only 0.1seconds though.

On Saturday, They announced real part course.
I found it very high-speed race course on formation lap.
I like it, But mine has a big disadvantage with Lancer on power.

It was gonna be tough…

Even though final gear has changed, I have to keep flooring the gas pedal longer.
And up time by break.

There is a corner through on 4th gear.
As suspected, I took 4th place at long last.

Even though I did not make 1 mistake at 1st leg ,and up 0.3second time, I would be 4th place.
At second lap, I expected that I upped time, however I downed time 0.06 actually.
But anyway, It could become to compete with Lancer in high speed.
Impreza is awesome. I really look forward next year.

I will join the race with same car in next year.
I appreciate your support.
All race is over in this season.
But I will work for tests, events and etc.

All Japan gymkhana 7th in Mobility OMUTA

At this time in Kyusyu, I have been great.

The tires and Impreza, They match very well.
First leg of the race, I have had the top grade way ahead of everyone else.
At second leg, It have started raining. So I change the WS tire for the rain.
I recorded the best time again.

Third leg, It have stopped raining and was drying the road surface.
Fine-tuned height and suspension I made it soft.
I had a top grade AGAIN!
At last, the road have became dry completely.
I continued driving same setting except WH tire.

I had a top grade AGAIN!!

on Sat, weather forecast was wrong and it was fine at the whole day.
At first leg, I Put on new WH and fine-tuned height and suspension.
First placed.

At the second leg, continued same tire.
Then I made a small mistake on air pressure.but still same time as others.

On Sunday, it was rained at morning. there are some puddle though it is not so tough.

I have chosen WS tire, a bit different under-body.
It has became a small rain, but still wet road.
I have had the top grade way ahead of everyone else at 1st leg.

It has stopped raining at lunch break. Sunshine came out step by step.
The road surface dried completely. The sun was so strong.
I got a fresh start. forgot a first leg.

Before 2nd leg, fine-tuned height and suspension, continued it soft as the test.
I couldn’t change the tire so I have to tire WS and pay attention it.
Fortunately, everyone has chosen soft tire. So I believe I can win the race.
However, Amamitsu took a trick. he changed to GS tire in exchange for 2seconds in penalty.
At 2nd leg, I could not drive aggressive. had to mind the tire disadvantage.
But I had a 1st place.

Amamitsu was 0.2seconds fasgter than me, but he have a 2 seconds penalty.
DL s was not good in this week, if they do not change, I will be the top grade way ahead of everyone else.

BS tire and Impreza stand out so much in this weekend.
and I make Impreza won at first. Thank you.
At final race in Honjo, will be tough for Impreza. However depends on the setting, it has a potential to win.

Impreza has been putting in.
I really look forward next season.

All Japan gymkhana 6th in MOTEGI

From the beginning test, I have a disadvantage to Rancer at this time in MOTEGI.

Rancer have a weaker than others on power, there are not many corner in this circuit.
It is difficult to use advantage of Impreza.

I decided setting on the test.
I just go on the fine tuning depends on the temperature.

Also I compared WH and WS.
Unfortunately, it was rain on Friday, so I candrive only 3 times. It’s not enough to check.

On Saturday evening, I drove a course for real part once.
Final confirmation with WS, It is not so hot, but I judge WS is too soft.
It is gonna be sunny on Sunday evening.

How much degree it will increase?! Started with new WH.
Better grip than yesterday. I made a tiny mistake 2 times however I finished in 3rd place.

I could expect that road surface temperature will go up a lot and I can drive faster.
I go into fine tuning again, increase the air pressure to keep it second half.
And I drove differently at a part I drove slow in 1st challenge.

Almost perfect drive. I placed in 2nd at this time.
but Kawawaki DL drove great. i finished in 3rd place.

DL has advantage to High road surface temperature. YH is for middle temperature, BS is OK for any temperature. but need a advantage in my opinion.

We checked such a point by test. Developing test has been taken hard through a whole year.
I bet the products will be better step by step.

Impreza has been better as well, but still prefer the corner because of the power shortage.
I am looking for the nicer setting for next season at the second half.

All Japan gymkhana 5th in SUGO Report

At this time, I expect this race and go to SUGO.
I feel good on first challenge, and also record is great.
I was on the 1st place.

However, after second half on Friday, try many things though I struggle the record
I excused the temperature which is lower than during the test.

On Saturday, It was not hot , same as Friday.

However, I could not handle the car at all.

I didn’t change the setting though. It was really weird.

On the 2nd challenge, It started misty raining. So I drove using a wiper.

Road surface is OK though, edge stone is so slippy.

It doesn’t work for a confirmation of a car.
After the racing, I checked the car again.
I found a mistake on my setting.

I set it as a test version for the real part.

It was sunny day as forecast on Sunday, I could see the blue sky at first time in this week.
I set up the car as the plan, selected used tire.

At the 1st challenge I expected, the tire locked during go through the hairpin on the downhill.
I lost a time.

The gear didn’t work well on section before the goal.
I delay 1.1second from 1st place.

I was so depress, I worried why the movement is so different.

I have to do re-setting.
It is gonna be hotter on road surface temperature. I could expect to increase gripping.
As soon as I start 2nd challenge, I could not handle new setting, but still better than 1st.

At the pylon section, control the DCCD and try to make it faster.
I got use to push the button during drive.
I tried 2 change of gear, one of them work well, and another was no change.
I reduce the 0.6second from I planned.
However It was a shame because I can not say it was good.

It was great condition from test to Friday.
It is close to win the race if I can find a matter and keep the condition good.

Cornering is a life line to compete with Rancer which has more dozens horse power.
I will do my best , I think I need to try new setting after though.

All Japan gymkhana 5th in SUGO

All Japan gymkhana 5th is over in SUGO is over.

Going into second half, I wanted to move up the place, But It didn’t go well.

I brought it very good sometime. But it is so hard to keep the current situation.

If I am in good condition, win the game many times.

Improving little by little. Go for beating Rancer.

All Japan gymkhana 4th in Hokkaido

Went up to Aomori on Tohoku-Jidosya do(Fwy), to Hakodate by Ferry.

Just relaxed for a day, and go into the race circuit.

On Friday, I drove well on my first try on a sunny day.

I try WS and WH by test drive. I decided WH if it is sunny.

Also I try 6 kind of setting car including one I felt good last time by 6 test drive.

Good record. It is in line for the championship. It is beautiful day on Sat as well. Road surface temperature is almost 50 degree.

I choose a WH tire, And decided to reduce the number of shifts by using 3 speed gear mainly at first attack.
It was a top record. I try to use 2nd speed gear mainly at the second Attack.
I feel good because of my agressive drive. but late about 0.1 second.

Advantage of Impreza is Cornering.
I should use it by driving by high speed gear.

Many other team touch the pylon. I’m still st place in result.

On Sunday, it is cloudy and cold in the morning.

race circuit became longer, added new corner, I could use advantage of Impreza.

Since the second half is the outer peripheral, so need a power,
especially pylon section before the goal is formed by basic corners. Traction is very important.

At the first attack, Set up as a best in this week, using new WF tire, and get start.
I mind road surface temperature, it is only little over 30 degree.

Weak Sunshine, first time to drive on this road surface temperature. what will happen.

At first half, I feel weak grip on the road. especially new corners are dusty.

I could handle the first half. But in the second half, I delayed from brake from high speed.

Try too hard to cut back on the pylon section, so traction doesn’t work well.

I feel bad first time in this week at my drive.

4th place, long distance on the time attack.

I understand it,
I have to try something speciall on 2nd attack.

change the setting and DCCD.

I bet I work well enough to win on 1st half and pylon section.

At the 2nd attack, it is sunny and walm.

Road surface temperature became around 45 degree.

I just do it. It was ROCK from start, Traction was great. Technical is awesome.

However , Brake Over is tight on the section has consecutive corners.

Change of front setting works.

After the middle, drive straight with 4th speed gear, Try to decrease DCCD.

Braking makes it stable.

And I mind only Traction on the pylon section and drive in gentle.

It was most fun in this season.

It shows the car becoming great. 2nd attack is the BEST. I was at 3rd place in result.

If road surface temperature is wormmer on the 1st attack, It would be better result.

I understand the advantage of Impreza.

It must be Better than Rancer on corner though it is necessary to fill the power shortage with setting perfect.

It changes by setting, I really learn it through the race.

At this time, I think I show to driver on Rancer “Impreza is becoming faster.”

I will do my best to press them harder.

Next race is in SUGO, will learn it by test before.

Third race: Report of Takata Circuit

On Friday, I started with DRY. IT was great race and I got top time.
When I had second race, It was little rain so I choose SEMI-WET.
Luckily I got top time again.

In the afternoon, the course has been changed and I had to drive with rain condition.
I changed set up, then First race. It was oversteer.

Second race, I changed set up again and my feeling was better, but I could not have better time.
On Saturday, it was said it would be rain, but I had sunshine.
First race, I was top and second race, I changed set up and suppose to have better time…

I have got sift trouble, so in the end of race it was slow.
I’m still struggling of shift change.
Especially when I am trying to have shift from 2 to 3. It’s not smooth at all.
On Sunday, It was clouded. It looks like about to rain.
As I expected, I had a little rain when I was in end of the race. It was totally wet after all.

When I was driving, the rain became heavier.
I was in good mood, but first corner, very disappointed..
I could not turn the corner….
I was driving with full counter and I did shift up to 3. I felt it wasn’t good. Again miss the shift change.
There were sharp slope and my pace became slower and slower.
I lost about one second.

My rhyme totally screwed up, and then I had to think and driving.
However it doesn’t work.
I tried many things, I couldn’t turn the corner.
In addition, I missed the angle and I had course miss in the end.
It was nightmare I could not eat lunch because I was so disappointed.
I could not talk and people worried about me, I am so sorry about these kind of things.
I could do more things for second race, but I didn’t change a lot.
Then… the result wasn’t change first corner… I messed up.
Because of the rein, the water almost spread out.
It was setting miss.

DRY and Semi-Wet setting was good so I expected a lot, but Wet setting I have to consider.
However as I am guessing, IMPREZA has been progressed a lot.
Next race, I promise I can drive in any condition.
I found some machine trouble at factory, this is one of the factor.
We are going to fix this so please whish me luke!

Third game TS Takaga circuit.

Today is rain, so we could not set up for wet and we lost the game.
I will do my best next game in Hokaido. I got 5th prize.

Third game TS Takaga circuit second day.

we had rain this morning, but when the time to start for first game, the rain stop and I choose semi-wet to drive.
It was good and I finished first.

For second game, I had sunshine and the road temperature became over 40℃, then I changed the setting.
When I was in the middle of the game, I was just after 0.9 second compared form first driver.

My car is really good mood, only problems is the whether and course.
