On the day of Time Attack, check the course at first. I feel good on my car.
check the boost pressure and tire, and drive faster.
little bit under, but not bad.
I recorded 30sedonds is same as last year.
Suddenly, Turbine is broken as soon as I feel good on running.
My team is in panic. Of cause I feel bad too, however I trust my team and believe my victory.
They change the detail on it, we wish it would not be broken.
Little bad response, I have to drive in different.
This is the point of this race.
Day 2, I recorded 29seconds at 1st time attack. I punch the air.
However, Biggest rival Sierra Sierra from USA surpassed us about point 8 second.
To be honest, I think I cannot beat it. I impressed more than disappointed by his performance.
And Someone notice me the smoke from the turbine.
I think it is over.
But I just focused the last chance!
At the last Attack I focused on the characteristics of the turbine and tire management. And I was cool unexpectedly.
Most Important thing was not make mistake and loss.
I thought it was not cool. And it was not like how Tarzan do.
But I could drive perfect same as I expect.
I never imagined to beat Sierra Sierra.
After the Attack, My team is so exciting.
No way,,,
I recorded 28soconds and beat him!
Backed to pit, waved my hands to audience, I was greeted by a standing ovation.
I was most impressed in my race life.
Standing ovation is moving and team performance is awesome though I can’t be happy in honest.
Because of my driving style.
It was my plan. however not cool.
In other words, Ra-men chef who has focus to MISO taste for long years cooks Tonkotsu taste by accident.
It is highly admired by people. My feeling is something like that…

I am heading to Australia from Narita.
Will be there 6 am in the morning. In winter.
And I just got Sydney now though, I could not fell asleep at all.
At first, Checked in the hotel even the 9am.
After, Put the car out from container and maintenance.
I have nothing to do then.
sooooo sleepy.
I stand to awake by night, drink 5 beer.
I fell down to the bed and I fell asleep till next morning.
Now I fell good and the only a thing I should do is record best time.
Well, I can make it ～

Finally, World champion ship in Australia is coming soon.
World Championship WTAC (World Time Attack Challenge) become second year at Eastern Creek circuit in Sydney.
I will drive 2 cars at this time.
One of them is “Syber Evo” which is a champion last year.
The other one is Mercury Motor Sport of R35GTR in Australian team.
Battle for two consecutive is coming.
I wanna make it 1 second faster than last year, early 1 minute 29 seconds.
295 This size tire will be introduced in Yokohama A050 rubber at this time,
So it is good chance to update my best time.
To be honest, It is so tight, But Try to drive perfect without mistake.
It is winter on August in Australia, So I care my health and do my best on the race.

Winner at D1 is Kumakubo Nobushige who is called “Manager”.
Strong “Team Orange” is back. They has no won for 3years.
They were on Second place in Odaiba. It seems to thank for a choice of “LAUREL”.
High speed drift From straight to 2nd corner through 1st one,
Okayama course is very exciting.
Hibino won the single race.
I would say, Hibino with “86″ is best…But it doesn’t work well as compare to I expect.
it is clear to see a fail to chase. speed, angle, and respond to cut back must be best though.
It is good for an entertainment, but also it is important to win the race.
Chasing has a lisk to fail.
It was regrettable , even the wet condition was difficult.
It was great job because of local. However Yoichi, Kumakubo and Daigo are finalist.
Daigo who I don’t like was still there lol.
The Kumakubo and Daigo compete the final again.
both of them made a mistake, but Daigo’s mistake was bigger.
That is why Kumakubo beat him.
I felt Kumakubo’s race is full of spirit. he matched his Laurel very well.
Also I appreciate to see “Manager of Fukushima Ebisu” won for victim of Earthquake.
Next D1 will be held in Ebisu. So it seems to be happiness for him.
There is only disappointed point which he would miss next D1 because he will be in Australia for Time attack at world champion ship.
Instead, He hope to come back after win twice champion ship.

D1 open was at Autopolis circuit located Kyushu area. But it was called off because of heavy rain and fog while best 16 chasing.
I have experienced to judge drift at Formula D in America for 3 years and WDS in China for 3 years, but it was my first time to do at D1 so I was very excited.
I am, if anything, be happier to see D1 from very good location than doing judgment.
As far as the driving goes, I think D1 is the best in the world.
As far as the showy goes, I think Formula D is a little bit higher, and as far as the stage goes, WDS in China is the best.
From now, I want to tell D1 by Tarzan’s view little by little.
